You cannot putty into our webserver to configure your webpage.

Use this guide for how to setup your home webservice.

I use EditPlus which allows you to open files over an ftp link and edit and save them as if they were on the hard drive.

Sorry, I don't work well with the HTML code. I am learning to use it by making my web page in plain text and then viewing the html coding for it. Thanks Anyway

Does Swift support any of the following:

# PuTTY
# PSCP
# PSFTP
# PuTTYtel
# Plink
# Pageant
# PuTTYgen

Thanks

Don't think so. Your only option is an FTP (not SFTP) client. Any ftp client will do the job.

Depends on what you mean by scripts. As I mentioned earlier, Editplus is a good general purpose code editor that can take the pain out of ftp'ing between your pc and the swiftel server. There are other editors that specialise more for certain languages.

I personally use Crimson editor to edit our website in a windows environment, there are a few editors i may use in the linux/shell environment, Vi, Pico etc.

Ryan.

Try NVU... it's free, allows a graphical and HTML view and runs on Windows, MacOSX and Linux.
