I have a friend looking at starting up a CC LUG. He is trying to get it as a branch of SLUG (Sydney Linux Users Group for those who don't know). Apparantly, discussions for this are advanced, and are looking promising. Either way, we need as many members as we can get!

Any feed back on the proposed CCLUG?

Yep. We've got more than a few people interested now. And it looks as though we may have scored use of the Uni of Newcastle, Ourimbah Campus lecture theater and computing lab. Nothing is certain yet, but it's getting there.

Meeting times is looking like either Friday or Wednesday night.
