Do I need to do anything with the "Static IP" fields?

In the One Page Setup and the WAN page there are fields to do with "VC Settings" "Static IP address", which have values in them that have nothing to do with my setup (which has been working perfectly since 3 minutes after the courier arrived with the modem

What is this IP address for?

you don't need to change those ips. since our service is setup in DHCP mode those values are over-written with the correct ip settings (although you won't see the change on the one page setup)
