I still play my PS... (not PS2)... I didn't upgrade.

I also play Games on my PC. :)

I can't see the reason for upgrading. ;)

Nah.... I don't play my PSX enough to justify the upgrade. :p

Currently I've borrowed it to the neighbour who broke his back in a motorcycle accident. It's been there for a month or so -- and haven't missed it. :D

The console fad for me has worn off.... I just don't get the use outta it...

The PS2 still outsells the xbox by a fairly large margin. So the gap is just getting bigger and bigger and considering PS2s lead was already unsurmountable at the time of xbox release it's a bit silly to be making comparisons between the two.

PS2 games are outselling xbox games almost 3 to 1 despite the xbox having better value package deals aswell.

But remarkably xbox is marginally beating PSX! It's been neck and neck all year with PSX normally winning.

That is remarkable... so my model-T PSX games vehicle is still holding it's own. :)

I was always impressed with PSX. :D

thats a shame coz with the gamecube as a serious contender all 3 companes would be having to cut prices to compete, which is good news for us :D

I own a Xbox and I enjoy playing it...

I still love my DC though :D after all these years I still play it as much as my Xbox...

This pole needs a DC option ;)

I've played both Xbox Live and PS2 online and the Xbox service is far better in terms of games,features and downloadable content.

Why don't Swiftel setup XBox Conncet FREE server type situation such that 1, RU rack problem solved and also FREE service adding value to exisiting package. Retain XBox Live also for new members but they can then join XBox connect and save after joining. Not fully sure how XBox connect works so this may be misplaced idea, but worth a thought. Especially since many ppl have router hooked up to computer and increasing amount wireless networking to connect XBox

I buy things for their power... Like it says on the xbox box, it 3 times faster then any other game console on the market at the moment. You wont the better visuals, content and overall performance xbox for you.
I have an xbox and thats why i have swiftel broadband to play xbox live!

Well by the look of the poll more people are playing Xbox Live than the PS2 online even tho the PS2 has out sold the xbox by more than 2 to 1.

PS2 destroys the competition.

In terms of graphics, Xbox may be ahead but the margin is far smaller than would be expected when you consider the hardware. PS2 still kills the competition for realism in some games, most notably MGS2 (when it came out on PS2, not the Xbox port).

pffffffffffffftttttttttttttttttttttt.

It may have sold more because it has been out longer, and there is a big installed PSX base that can still play their games, but you can see on this forum that more people play XBOX than PS2 online.

Indeed.

I get a console if it has games that i want to play on it, i dont have no particular bias against a console.

The reason i never got a Xbox was that all the games that i did want to play on the Xbox i could play on my PC.

agreed, and if the game was designed with pcs in mind rather than just a port across then you then to get more functionality and control in the game (well from a power user point of view)
btw i have used consoles just never owned one
