Speed question for xbox live

would there be much noticable difference between 1500 and 512 plans for xbox live?

I cant decide which plan would be best, the difference is $25.

But I want no lag, does 1500 eliminate lag altogether?

Does 512 ever lag?

512 would be fine for playing others with XBL.

I would probably suggest 1.5/256 if you want to host games yourself, the extra upload bandwidth helps.

But if you are just joining other games, I wouldn't bother paying the extra money.
