My desktop XP machine is connected directly to an NB1300 modem via an ethernet LAN connection.
I want to connect my laptop via USB (as it doesn't have an ethernet card). I understand that the NB1300 should allow both machines to be connected simultaneously.
Can I use the USB cable that was supplied with the modem (assuming that it is a "normal" USB modem), or do I need a "crossover" USB modem?
