What type of servers are you trying to connect to, ie. what country and what games are you using?

ok..!

I am trying to play HALO
connectiong to Auzzi servers
If i can connect then i have heaps of lagg.. but even connection rare. coz it just says "connecting to server" then "trying alternet connection" and he just gose strait to the server list screen.. and dose not connect to the server.

Also- id really like to b able to host.. coz of my PHAT conection (512/512). but when i make the room... nobody can join.

also.. here is my setup for xlink.. that is also posted on the xlink forums-

It's been noted in other posts that the XBox stuff has been both laggy or down of recent. :(

Sorry -- you're not alone... there is a room full of frowning XBoxers.

Cheers,

M@tt.

hey siliconart,

I was on xbc the otherday and tried joining your server and it refused, and I noticed your ping was about 233 and everyone elses was about 30, something strange is going on there man, I just use ics and dont have to change any settings, or firewalls or anything, I hooked up my router the other day and gave it a whirl and it was no probs either, it detects my settings/IP's etc automatically, so I have no idea .

I did have to muck around with my dns settings when I had my router connected, for xbl, but otherwise all ok.
