ps2 connection

someone please help

everyone says it's straight foward so i'm really confused/angry/fed up.

any tips on connecting with an rta100.
i've done autoeverything, retyped username/password lots and lots of times but it won't get past the first stage of the tests ie connecting.

if i don't get on soon there my be some real live socom action going on in perth this afternoon.

Having never owned a PS2, I will attempt to help :)

Does the PS2 give any sort of error message as to why you are unable to connect?

Problem was solved by going to a mates house and him setting up the modem on his computer to take out firewalls etc stuff that i didn't even knew existed as all i do is play games.

Thanks for your help though and i am now getting angrier playing socom as i die 20 more times than i kill someone. yay.
