Can any of you people please tell me, how I can get the DCC Send from X-Chat to go through. I think the NAT in my nb1300 modem is blocking it, but my attempts to get it to go through have failed.

First set your nb1300 to forward a few ports to the system you are running xchat on. say ports 4999-5001. Alocate as many ports as you expect to have Dcc sends going. 4999-5001 is 3 simultaneous sends.
Then in Xchat 2.0.5
Preferences->Network->File Transfers.
Put in your DCC IP address - This is your ip address seen by the outside world. ie your static ip address.
Enter the First Dcc Send Port and Last Dcc Send port - in this example 4999 and 5001.
Click OK
You'll probably need to reconnect to whatever irc server you are connected to if you are connected.
