new user

Hi all, I got my new Swiftel today, and have everything set up....even my web site :)

My questions is, I enjoyed the news groups I was accessing at Bigpond and miss them already. Does anyone know how I can access them again or do I have to be a Bigpond user?

I dont want to have to deal with Telstra again, they were unco-operative when I was giving them money, I'm sure they will be less than helpful now.

I just logged onto swiftel's news server and downloaded the ones I wanted. And the ones I was on from bigpond were there, with ALMOST the same messages (I was even able to view one of my own).

The problem is that the message I posted last night is missing and there are extra messages.....I am confused, could someone please explain to me how this all works ....

We are currently haveing a feed issue so that may explain why you didn't see your own posting.

Hi all,
I am also new from Bigpong and agree with Knikll , some internal newsgroups would be nice. Something like Swiftdsl.users & swiftdsl.support , swiftdsl.complaints (the Telstra version of this last one was always full)

I am slowly getting used to the forums and they seem great so far.

Any ideas on when the news feed issues will be fixed? I can see my own posts but am not seeing any new posts from external.
