Whats going on with the email server? In Webmail, i just hit refresh folder list, and the 'last refresh' time went from Thu, 4:49pm to Thu, 2:31pm....

Has there been another time change i'm not aware of? Or does it just jump to WA time when it feels like it? strange and not very reliable!!

Hi,

Ill look into that, I recently upgraded squirrel mail, it has an upgrade path that rebuilds its config from the previous install.
It didn't alter the config much...

Hmmm tested and it works for me, maybee browser cache.

Ok i worked it out, i was logged into two accounts at the same time, one of which still has default settings (ie time same as server) other one with my personal setting (ie time = melbourne). So when i hit refresh folders on the custom settings account, PHP's session tracking got confused and thought i was in the other account.

Might be worth telling author of squirrelmail about this, i'm sure if you stored the user name in a cookie and as a hidden field in the html this could be avoided, no? I think it's quite feasible that you would be logged into two accounts at the same time, especially when providers like swiftel let you setup several accounts?

Anyway, sorry if i'm a bit quick to leap to conclusions, i just haven't had the best experiences with webmail and swiftel mail servers lately, guess i'm a bit paranoid :-)

Thanks for your help anyway!!
