Webmail Slow

Webmail is running really slow at the moment and I am also getting timeout whice browsing it.

Yes it has been chronic for me for weeks, but particularly this morning. Can forumadmin etc please try logging into an account via webmail and seeing what we mean? It is becoming quite annoying.

Particular prob this morning: giant lag and consistent error msgs = no login. Usual problems: massive, but not giant, lag and intermittent error msgs = login but bastardly operation.

Ok some response is better than no response forumadmin. This is seriously annoying. I've timed it: 2 mins 23 secs exactly is the length of each lag between page refreshes (incl. login) on Optus cable; 1:54 from a University of Sydney t3 connection; 2:10 from my home Swiftdsl connection.

Less on VoIP, more on basics like mail - a cursory look at other threads is revealing "anomalies".

yes, webmail (http://webmail.swiftdsl.com.au/) has been slow for me too.

frequently over the last week or so, and a few times to day.
when there is a problem the login screen is slow to display.
(while ther were no problems with other internal or external web sites)
but it normally recovers and is ok minutes later..

anyone else with these issues?

Mail's been good for the last coupla days ta whoever fixed it.

I'm trying to access web mail right (from home connection with swiftdsl) now on 2 email accounts I've got, both taking a very long time to open

I was using them at work (also on swiftdsl - same speed) about 1 hour ago without any delays

anyone else seeing this problem?
