For the past 10 minutes or so, I have been unable to send mail using mail.swiftdsl.com.au. Eudora 5.1 reports this error:

There has been an error transferring your mail. I said . and then the SMTP server (mail.swiftdsl.com.au) said: 451 qq write error or disk full (#4.3.0)

What's going on?

I haven't changed configuration and this has been working fine for about a month.

If you have the SMS feature working, you should have received an SMS saying that mail delivery will be slower than usual since there was more traffic than usual.

Someone else had the mobile phone, that's why I didn't see the SMS message. In any case the problem seems fixed now. That's the main thing. -Ann

I sent myself an email to my hotmail account at about 2pm today. It still hasn't arrived.

I meant, the specific error about being unable to queue outgoing emails due to "disk full" is gone.

As to whether the emails are actually leaving their SMTP server, I don't know. I didn't test that. I will now that you mention it - good point. -Ann
