HI guys!
i need your help. I thought I configured my Outlook Express properly but I cant seem to send any emails. This is the error message i get:
"The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by the server. The rejected e-mail address was 'jcapuyan@atc.australia.com'. Subject 'testing', Account: 'jepun - imap', Server: 'mail.swiftdsl.com.au', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 553, Error Number: 0x800CCC79"
and this happens to all domains.
PLease help!

Are you sure the recipient email address (all of it) is 100% correct?
The error message that you're getting seems to me to be fairly clear.
It looks as if it's coming from the server at either atc.australia.com or perhaps swiftel, and it's basically saying that the domain name isn't valid.
Is Australia.com even legal?
I'd be double checking all of the complete email addresses ...

This means either your IP address or the way you have set up your outlook client is being rejected by the Swiftdsl mail server.
Can you please email swaddington@swiftel.com.au with your ADSL line number and I will check that your IP address is ok.

Check that your ISP is not blocking the sending of email using a free account such as, in my case, Yahoo via Windows Outlook.
I have no idea why as they have my money as I need an ISP. I can recieve emails from Yahoo and Gmail via Windows Outlook 2003 but can't send.
This is not a fault with your settings or Windows Outlook.
Call your ISP and ask the question!
I believe this to be a recent development as it worked fine a few weeks ago.
Be sure to post your findings somewhere as the only way to get decent service is to complain and take your money to get what you want!
Dont just post it on a forum, be sure you are heard and complain to whoever takes your money.
